I , Kavitha R, am a Counselling Psychologist and I believe that counselling should be a space where you can talk openly without feeling judged or having to explain yourself constantly.

I work with individuals and couples who are going through relationship issues, communication problems, emotional stress or difficult transitions in life. I try to understand what is happening beneath the immediate problem: the feelings, expectations, patterns and experiences that are affecting the way we relate to each other.

Relationships can go through difficult phases. Sometimes there are constant arguments, sometimes there is distance and silence, and sometimes you may simply feel lost about what to do next. Counselling can give you some space to step back, understand what is happening, and look at things differently.

I don't see counselling as deciding who is right or wrong. I see it as a space to understand yourself and your relationship better and to work out what you would like to change or do differently.
